Business lawyer, literary scholar, business economist, systemic coach. My path follows no single discipline, but a single question: how do people work well together?
What drives me today is the question of how we work well together, at a time when technology increasingly permeates the world of work: New Work, the future of work and self-organization. My academic roots lie in research on family businesses and business succession, subjects close to my heart that still move me today.
Alongside my academic work, I am a systemic coach and Chair of the Supervisory Board of NEOMATIC AG. I am a member of the Academy of Management, IFERA and EURAM.
I live in Cologne and Bern. You will often find me with headphones on, listening to the latest podcast, or with a book in hand.

Bern University of Applied Sciences, Business School. Building and leading the Institute for New Work.
Training as a systemic coach at the INEKO Institute of the University of Cologne. Member since 2020, Chair of the Supervisory Board of NEOMATIC AG since 2022.
Institute for Organization and Human Resources, focus on family business research. From 2017 also self-organization and Holacracy as a research topic. Habilitation in business administration in September 2023.
